Real Huntsman was, at one
point, the greatest money winner of all time. During his career,
which ran from 1949 to 1951, he won 67 firsts, 9 seconds and 11 thirds
in 104 starts.

Real Huntsman joined Rural Rube and Flashy Sir as the first three
Greyhounds inducted into the Greyhound Hall of Fame. Besides a record
10 victories in stake/feature races, Real Huntsman set track records
at Biscayne, Hollywood, Volusia County Kennel Club, Taunton and Washington
Park.
At the peak of his career, he proved an amazing ability by winning
27 consecutive races against the best competition in the country.
He competed in nine two-dog match races and won them all.
