Kitty Dunn
Inducted into the Greyhound Hall of Fame in 1966. Kitty Dunn was the undaunted South Florida champ in her day, capturing practially all in sight, including the Flagler Derby in 1931. Runnerup in the Spring Furturity at Girard and winner of the Fall Sapling Stake also at Girard. Kitty Dunn produced five litters of pups during her brood matron career - three of them by My Laddie. More regal breeding one could not find, as the parents of this cross woule both eventually win spots in the Greyhound Hall of Fame. Upon her passing her owner remarked, "She, as you know, was my good female and the mother of so many of my good dogs, such as West Flagler, Fritzi Ritz, Larry Rollins, Lucky Fritizi, Raynham Boy, Lunch Kit, Time Bomb and many others. She was a good individual herself, a wonderful mother and her offspring have been a big factor in keeping my kennel where it is today. She was one of the best females I've ever owned, or ever expect to, and with her passing I can only say that I have lost a wonderful greyhound."
