A 99 race winner and Hall of Famer, from 1947-49 Beach Comber was pretty much the dog to beat. He left the job of producing another Hall of Famer to his brother, No Refund, who sired Feldcrest. Beach Comber namaged to produce a few good brood matrons, including Handy Peg, Doll Dance and Winnogene. One of his best was Star Aglow.

Beach Comber was inducted into the Greyhound Hall of Fame in 1966.
