Betty is a retired broodmom who loves her scratchies. She will literally crawl in your lap for them if you let her. Betty hasn't figured out stuffies yet but I'm sure she will soon. She is settling into home life very quickly and seems to be loving this retired thing. Betty is cat safe and get along well with our two greys. Betty was adopted on 04/01/05 by Brian and Allison Carey.
Betty went peacefully to the Bridge at 7:15 this evening (11/11/05) . She took her last breath in my arms, with Brian petting her ears just the way she liked. We stayed with her for a few minutes after she left and her little ears began twitching; I am certain she was off chasing a squirrel on legs that are once again able to support her. Betty left smothered with hugs secure in the knowledge that she had been well loved. Run free Baby Girl.
