Ellie arrived at GEM just in time for May, "Senior Month," and
she is a wonderful little girl. Her age is guesstimated at 9.5, but
she doesn't have tattoos. We have tracked her back for the past nine years, so we know that she is at least that old!
She is a tiny (45
lb.) tuxedo with wonderful manners. She is absolutely small dog-safe
but not cat safe. She crates well (better
than my own dogs!!!) during the day and she whines to go outside, so we
haven't had any accidents since she's been here. Her previous owners
taught her "sit" and "down" and there may be other tricks that I haven't
figured out the buttons for yet.
She is becoming more and more
affectionate every day. She is now the first in line for pets and wags her tail
when she sees me coming towards her.
Anyway, I can't say enough great
things about this girl. Ellie was adopted on 10/27/2004 by Aaron Brown.
